Tamara Fyodorovna Konstantinova (November 7, 1919, village Nigerevo, Tver Province — July 28, 1999, Voronezh) was a Soviet ground attack pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, a lieutenant, a native of the Likhoslavlsky district of the Tver region. She is the sister of Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Konstantinov. She was born on November 7, 1919 in the village of Nigerevo, now in the Likhoslavlsky district of the Tver region, into a peasant family. His father is Fyodor Konstantinov, a village blacksmith, and his mother is Zinaida Mikhailovna, a teacher. She graduated from high school, and in 1940 graduated from the instructor pilot courses at the Kalinin Aero Club. Since March 1943, he has served in the Red Army as a truck driver for a communications company in the logistics units of the Volkhov Front. Since October of the same year, he has been serving as a U-2 pilot of the 386th Light night Bomber Regiment, and then in the same position in the 33rd Separate Aviation Communications Squadron of the 14th Air Army. In May 1944, she was transferred to the 15th Separate Training Aviation Regiment, where she successfully mastered the IL-2 attack aircraft and in July 1944 was sent as an IL-2 attack aircraft pilot to the 566th Assault Aviation Regiment. Since December 1944, he served as a pilot of the IL-2 attack aircraft, and then as deputy squadron commander of the 999th Tallinn Assault Order of Suvorov Aviation Regiment of the 277th Assault Aviation Division, 1st Air Army, 3rd Belorussian Front. She made 66 combat sorties to attack enemy targets.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated June 29, 1945, Lieutenant Konstantinova was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for exemplary performance of combat missions of the command and displayed courage and heroism in battles with the Nazi invaders.
After the war, Senior Lieutenant Konstantinova was discharged into the reserve. She worked as a pilot in Civil Aviation. After an emergency landing, she suffered serious injuries and was declared unfit for flight work. She joined the factory and was a foreman. Then she was elected chairman of the factory committee of the trade union. In 1949, she joined the Communist Party. In 1954, she entered evening school, then the Voronezh Higher Regional Party School. After graduation, Konstantinova was appointed deputy head of the Voronezh Department of Social Security. To work successfully at her new place, she had to enroll in the correspondence department of the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics, from which she successfully graduated in 1965. While living in Voronezh, Tamara Fyodorovna carried out a lot of public and military-patriotic work. She died on July 28, 1999. She was buried at the Komintern cemetery.
