Stepan Akimovich Krasovsky (bel. Stepan Akimovich Krasovsky; August 8 (20), 1897, village of Glukhi, Mogilev district, Mogilev province, Russian Empire — April 21, 1983, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) was a Soviet military commander, commander of the air armies in the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union (05/29/1945). Air Marshal (1959), Professor (1960).

He served on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War since August 1941, when he was appointed commander of the Air Force of the 56th Separate Army. Since January 1942 — Commander of the Bryansk Front Air Force. From May to July 1942— he was commander of the 2nd Air Army. From November 6 to November 16, 1942 — Commander of the Air Force of the Southwestern Front, and from November 16, 1942 to March 26, 1943 - Commander of the 17th Air Army. From March 1943 until the end of the war, he was again commander of the 2nd Air Army. Formations under his command fought on the Southern, Bryansk, Southwestern, Voronezh and 1st Ukrainian fronts; participated in the defensive battles for Rostov-on-Don and Stalingrad, in the Battle of Kursk, the crossing of the Dnieper, the liberation of Kiev, Korsun-Shevchenko, Lviv-Sandomierz, Nizhny Silesian, Berlin and Prague operations. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated May 29, 1945, "for exemplary performance of combat missions of the command on the front of the struggle against the German invaders and the successes achieved in this process," Aviation Colonel General Stepan Akimovich Krasovsky was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal.
