Evgeny Mikhailovich Chistyakov (February 12, 1920, Uglich, Yaroslavl Province — March 25, 1960) was a deputy squadron commander of the 92nd Fighter Aviation Regiment of the 44th Fighter Aviation Division of the 6th Army of the Southwestern Front, second lieutenant. Hero of the Soviet Union. He was born on February 12, 1920 in the city of Uglich, now Yaroslavl region, into a working-class family. Russian. Member of the CPSU since 1941. He graduated from grades 7 and the Federal Law School. He worked as a locksmith at the Leningrad plant named after S. M. Kirov. In the Red Army since 1937. In 1938, he graduated from the Borisoglebsk Military Aviation School of Pilots. He participated in the Great Patriotic War since June 1941. By November 1941, the deputy squadron commander of the 92nd Fighter Aviation Regiment, Junior Lieutenant Evgeny Chistyakov, had flown 89 combat missions to scout and attack enemy troops. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated November 20, 1941, Junior Lieutenant Evgeny Mikhailovich Chistyakov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal for exemplary performance of combat missions of the command at the front of the struggle against the Nazi invaders and his courage and heroism.
