The USSR, after 1957. Very good collection condition, size 12*18 see the photo shows twice hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Kokkinaki with a group of pupils. The reverse side of the net. Recommended!
History Kokkinaki Vladimir Konstantinovich - test pilot design Bureau SV Ilyushin.

Born 12 (25) June 1904 in the city of Novorossiysk, nowadays Krasnodar region. English (from Russified Greeks). The elder brother of the Hero of the Soviet Union Konstantin K. Kokkinaki. In 1921 he graduated from the 3rd grade of primary school. Worked as a collective farmer in vineyards, a sailor and a stevedore in the port.

In the army from December 1925. Until July 1927 he served in the infantry. In 1928 graduated from the Leningrad military-political school of the air force, in 1930 - Borisoglebsk military aviation school of pilots. He served in the air force combat units (the Moscow military district). In April-December 1931 - pilot-instructor of the Leningrad military-theoretical school of the air force.

1932-1935 - test pilot of Scientific test Institute of the air force, held a public trial of a number of fighter planes. In 1935-1964 he was a senior test-pilot of the OKB SV Ilyushin. Lifted into the sky and tested all aircraft design Bureau, produced in these years - Il-2 and Il-10; bomber DB-3, Il-4, Il-22, Il-28, Il-30, the Il-46, Il-54; passenger aircraft Il-12, Il-14, Il-18, Il-62 and their various modifications.

For courage and heroism shown during the testing of new aircraft, major General aviation Kokkinaki Vladimir Konstantinovich by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 17 September 1957 was awarded the second medal "gold Star  (№  179).

Since January 1966 major General aviation VK Kokkinaki - in reserve. After retiring from the flight work continued to work in the Bureau of S.V. Ilyushin engineer Methodist, since 1968 is a responsible representative of the General designer in flight-flight complex.
