A selection of documents helps to trace the life of Alexei Ivanovich Agafonov, military commissar of supply of the 12th Infantry Division. A certificate was issued to him confirming that he had indeed been dismissed on indefinite leave on June 22, 1922. The membership card indicates that he was elected a member of the Regional Control Commission of the CPSU (b) of the Central Chernozem region by the Second Regional Party Conference of the CPSU (b) in 1930. The student ID was issued to him by the special department of the Theater Studies Faculty of GITIS for theater managers. Agafonov entered GITIS in 1946 and was listed as the director of the library of Ts.D.R.I. He was the director of GITIS in 1943-1948. Stefan Stefanovich Mokulsky (1896-1960), literary critic and theater critic.
