Irina Petrovna Makogonova (until 1977 — Kolodyazhnaya) (November 12, 1959, Losevo village, Pavlovsky district, Voronezh region, RSFSR, USSR) was a Soviet volleyball player, USSR national team player (1977-1981), Olympic champion 1980, European champion 1979, 5-time USSR champion. As a member of Uralochka, she became the champion of the USSR 5 times and twice the winner of the European Champions Cup. Two-time winner of the Spartakiads of the peoples of the USSR in the national team of the RSFSR. She competed in the USSR national team in official competitions in 1977-1981. She became the winner and medalist of major international tournaments, in particular the Olympic champion in 1980, the bronze medalist of the 1978 World Championship and the 1981 World Cup, the European champion in 1979. Since 1988, he has been working as a coach. In 1988-2008— he was the head coach of the Voronezh women's volleyball teams Energia, Record, and SVS. Since 2009 — Director of the Voronezh Region Volleyball Sports School, First Vice-President of the Voronezh Regional Volleyball Federation.
