Stanislav Vasilyevich Moskvin (January 19, 1939, Oranienbaum, Leningrad Region — December 18, 2025, Saint Petersburg) was a Soviet cyclist, Olympic medalist and world champion in the team pursuit. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1962). Born on January 19, 1939 in Oranienbaum, Leningrad region. He trained under the guidance of Leningrad coach Dmitry Panteleimonovich Polyakov. In 1960, he won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Rome in the team pursuit. In 1961, he won the World Cycling Race in the team competition. In 1962, he became the silver medalist of the World Cycling Race. In 1963, he won a bronze medal at the World Championships in the 100 km team race. In 1964, he participated in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, but did not win any medals, finishing 5th in both the individual and team races. In 1968, he participated in the Olympic Games in Mexico City, where he took 4th place in the team pursuit. In 1958-1969, Stanislav Moskvin was an eighteen-time USSR champion, and he repeatedly won medals at the world Championships. After finishing his sports career, he switched to coaching, in 1971-1973 he was the coach of the USSR national team, in 1974-1980 — the coach of the Algerian national team, in 1995-1999 — the coach of the Colombian national team. He died on December 18, 2025, at the age of 87.
