A set of gold and silver medals of the All-Union Union of Trade Unions of the USSR.

The original medals are in good collector's condition. Bronze, gilding, silvering. Medals were awarded by the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions to athletes who took 1st and 2nd place in sports competitions held among trade union members in The Soviet Union. The obverse of the medals depicts an athlete with a waving flag, framed by laurel branches and the inscriptions "USSR TRADE UNION CHAMPIONSHIP" and "2nd place" and "CHAMPION". Medals had various mounting variations (on a screw or on a block, as in this case) in the period from the late 1940s to the 1980s. Guarantee of authenticity.
