One of the most iconic posters of the war period in very good collectible condition. Paper, printing. Size 43*30.8 cm. The circulation is 400,000 pieces. Traces of creases, spots of paper burnout. The poster's author is Viktor Borisovich Koretsky (1909-1998) – Soviet graphic artist, painter, photographer. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1964). He is mainly known as an outstanding poster artist. During his life, he created about seven hundred sheets on various topics, primarily political ones. Guarantee of authenticity.
One of Koretsky's most famous military posters can be considered – "Soldier of the Red Army, save!". This poster was displayed in enlarged form on city streets and front-line roads, soldiers went to the front lines of defense, seeing this huge poster, it was published in millions of copies, printed in newspapers and on postcards. The poster was based on a photograph of a woman protecting her child. In the foreground, a bloody fascist bayonet is pointed at them defenseless, the tip of which is in the center of the poster. This work aroused a special hatred of the enemy among the soldiers of the Red Army. The poster is made in two colors – black and red, moreover, red – only in the form of blood on the bayonet of a fascist, thereby emphasizing the bloody essence of the enemy.
