The original pre-war election poster is in very good collector's condition. Calls for voting for a candidate for deputy of the Council of Nationalities of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from Sverdlovsk electoral district of N.M. Shvernik. Perm: Printing house of the publishing house "Zvezda"; Gorlit No. 3406, 1937. The format is 63.1*47.5 cm. In good condition, traces of bends, creases, tears, loss of minor fragments. Guarantee of authenticity. It's rare.
Nikolai Mikhailovich Shvernik (May 7 (19), 1888, Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire — December 24, 1970, Moscow, RSFSR, USSR) was a Soviet party and statesman. During the last period of Stalin's rule, in 1946-1953, he held the highest state position — Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Member of the Central Executive Committee (1927-1938) and the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR (1935-1938), deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (1937-66). Member of the Presidium (Politburo) of the Central Committee of the CPSU in 1952-1953 and 1957-1966, candidate member in 1939-1952 and 1953-1957. Hero of Socialist Labor (1958).
