Treskin Anatoly Vladimirovich (1905-1986). Soviet painter, graphic artist, restorer. Member of the USSR Council of Artists. People's Artist of the RSFSR. Winner of the State Prize of the RSFSR in the field of architecture (1972). He graduated from the Art and Industrial technical school at VKhUTEMAS (teachers V. N. Kuchumov, V. A. Kuznetsov and D. I. Kiplik). Gold medalist of the Leningrad Academy of Arts. In the pre-war years, he was engaged in the restoration of picturesque decor in the Shuvalov, Yusupov, and Stroganov palaces. He painted workers ' clubs, palaces of culture, and sanatoriums. He was engaged in easel painting; he painted portraits, genre paintings, landscapes and still lifes. During the Great Patriotic War, he remained in the besieged Leningrad, performing patriotic posters. The author of the posters: "Baltiets! He led the restoration of the paintings of the Pavlovsk Palace (1950-1970). Paintings by A.V.
