For a long time, the significance of the blockade posters of Okon TASS was not properly evaluated, including because of the famous "Leningrad affair" of the late 1940s and early 1950s, when many active participants in the heroic defense of Leningrad were subjected to repression. Political propaganda posters "Windows TASS" called for victory over the Nazi invaders, glorified the exploits of the Soviet people, reminded of the heroic past. In Leningrad, they were put up in different parts of the city, including on Nevsky Prospekt near the Eliseevsky store. The posters were created by a team of artists with the participation of Vasily Selivanov, Moisey Vaxer, Leonid Torich, Viktor Slyshchenko, Nikolai Ignatiev and others. They were assisted in their work by the famous cartoonists of the creative Association "Fighting pencil" Vladimir Galba and Boris Leo. Among the authors of the texts were Olga Bergholz, Alexander Prokofiev, Alexander fleet, Vissarion sayanov, Boris Timofeev. The collection of blockade posters "Windows of TASS" is now stored in the collections of the Russian national library.
