A rather rare and richly decorated Russian rifle in excellent collector's condition. The barrels are steel, round in cross section, smooth. The inscription "T" is stamped in gold on the bar between the trunks. Schlieper St. Petersbourg" (the mark of the master). At the muzzle, the barrels are decorated with the image of a pike entwined with a snake on the background of a laurel wreath. The shank of the barrel block is decorated with gold-notched images of crossed axes on the background of a shield (?), as well as a stylized image of a palmette. Capsule locks. The triggers are made in the shape of dolphins, the base is decorated with steel carvings. Lockboards are not provided, the triggers are attached to a steel bar at the trigger guard. The bed is wooden, the forearm is 1/3 of the barrel. There are 2 ramrod tubes under the trunks. The trigger guard is steel, oval. The triggers are C-shaped. The butt has a cheek, decorated with the image of a deer's head. A floral arrangement is carved on the left side of the butt, and the stamp "PPW 20" is punched below the image of the crown. Practically safe, with minor traces of corrosion on the barrels. The ramrod is lost. The presented gun can be recommended for purchase in any private or museum collection as a rare example of a Russian hunter's firearm. Guarantee of authenticity.
