Steel, brass, wood; casting, stamping, locksmithing and carpentry. The pistol consists of a box, a barrel, a capsule lock, a trigger with a trigger guard, and a trigger guard. The barrel of the pistol has a slightly conical shape, an irregular octagonal shape in the breech (about a quarter of the length of the barrel), and a circular section in the rest of the barrel. In the breech, a tide is made from the top right with a threaded hole for installing a brand pipe. The breech bolt has an elongated shank with a hole for the mounting screw. The bore is smooth. The sights are a front sight mounted at the muzzle and a slit rear sight placed on top of the breech of the barrel. The poorly readable weapon number 81377 (?) is pierced on the breech of the barrel. The barrel is fixed in the bed with a screw on the shank in the breech and a brass clip on the forearm. The clip has an image of a bow and arrow, the stamp of the Izhevsk Arms Factory. A similar stamp is punched on the back of the handle, the shank of the barrel.

The new lock used on the pistol was a direct copy of the lock of the French percussion cap musket model 1840. The only difference was the use of brass fittings on the Russian model of the pistol and iron on the French weapon. The capsule lock is fixed in the bed using a screw screwed into the threaded hole of the triangular keyhole. The keyhole is small, with an arrow image punched on it and the letter "D". The lock consists of a lock board, a mainspring, a trigger, a trigger axis with a leash, a trigger lever and a bridle. The mainspring is "V" shaped, its long shoulder is located in the upper part of the key board and acts on the trigger axis through the leash. The trigger axis is fixed in the firing position by the protrusion of the trigger lever. When the trigger lever is pressed, the sear releases the axis of the trigger, which, due to the mainspring, strikes the capsule located on the brand tube. The capsule will ignite the powder charge in the barrel — a shot occurs. The trigger has a slightly recessed firing part to prevent the capsule fragments from flying apart and protect the shooter's eyes. The spoke of the trigger is straight with a diamond-shaped notch on the front side. The firing part of the trigger is shifted to the left relative to the plane of the key board. The manufacturer's label "I.O.Z." (Izhevsk Arms Factory) and the release date of the product are sufficiently marked on the key board.

The bed is made of wood, has cutouts to accommodate the barrel of the pistol, the lock, the lock and trigger guard, the shank of the breech bolt, the butt of the handle, and the locking ring of the barrel. The trigger guard is brass, oval in shape. The trigger is steel, C-shaped. The safety is satisfactory, there are traces of corrosion on the steel parts of the weapon, scratches and loss of varnish on the wood.
