A uniquely rare find of our store is a bronze guard from a Hungarian–Polish type saber (option 2) with the monogram of the Russian Empress Catherine I (1725-1727) applied with brass wire. Weapons with the monogram of this ruler are not found today either in private collections or in museums, which makes this find truly unique. The guard is slightly deformed, but it can easily be straightened back. Found in the Kursk region. On the reverse side, a poorly readable ornament is applied in brass. The guard was not cleaned. Guarantee of authenticity.
