Buckle student's city College (GU)

Historical background: City College, along with a district school, views primary school in pre-revolutionary Russia. Organization of public school was regulated published in 1872 special situation of them. Urban schools represent a lower school with a wider program of teaching than ordinary primary and parish school. In them was taught the Law of God, reading and letter, the Church Slavic language, arithmetic, elementary foundations of geometry, geography and history (mainly Russian), information from the natural history, physics, drawing, and drawing, singing and gymnastics. Urban schools were 2, 3, 4 and even 6 cool and were kept mainly on the expense of the Treasury and were managed directly by the Ministry of national education; Zemstvo and the city that gave funds for  the content, had their representatives in school councils of these schools.
