Commemorative plaque addressed to Captain E.E. Ovander, 2nd rank of the Guards Semi-crew

Brass, stamping, silvering, engraving. The original plaque is in good collector's condition. The text reads: "In good memory to the Assistant Commander of the Kronstadt Regiment. His To the most honorable Captain 2nd rank Eduard Eduardovich Ovander from the choir of Harbor Musicians 1.X.1911." This inscription identifies the recipient as E. E. Ovander (1868-1917), who graduated from the Marine Corps in 1886 and was killed by the Bolsheviks in 1917 with the rank of captain of the 1st rank. A guarantee of authenticity.
