A map from a very rare edition of Atlante Geografico, the first project of Abbot Bartolomeo Borghi, published by Pazzini Carli in Siena in 1789. The original name of the map is printed in the cartouche in the upper right corner of the map: "I Governi di Woronez di Belgorod di Kiow di Mohilow, e di Nuova Russia con parte della piccola Tartaria Siena Presso Pazzini Carli 1789". Provinces are highlighted on the map by hand with watercolors of different colors. The map is well detailed, in addition to settlements, rivers, roads, and mountain ranges are marked. The year of issue is present on the map — in the engraving of the titles under the name of the area in Italian, the name of the author of the map is also placed here.
