Banner brackets represent an important element of the banner. The clip was a folded tube rectangular brass plated plaque nailed to the pole below the flag. On the plate was indicated the name of the military formation, which gave rise to this part and the date of its founding, the date of the award regalia of the banner for military distinction, and the date of the award banner of that particular part or division and name. The inscription was crowned monogram of the Emperor or Empress, first pozhalovalsya this part of the banner (without a crown). The clip is engraved with the inscription "1788 Estland chasseur corps 4th battalion", "1831 the distinction in the pacification of Poland in 1831" and "1864 of the Pskov Infantry General-field Marshal Prince Kutuzov of Smolensk regiment 3rd battalion" under the monogram of the Empress Catherine II.
