Bronze, stamping. An original and rather rare button in good collector's condition. The bill of lire. The diameter is 1.5 mm. Guarantee of authenticity.
For the first time, the image on the flat brass buttons of the uniforms of officials of the Academy of Arts appeared in 1800. It was a drawing of the "lyre of Apollonova" in radiance ("in the rays"). In July 1804, the uniform for the staff of the Academy of Arts was installed in dark blue, with a blue velvet collar and cuffs. The ranks of the staff officer rank were entitled to "golden buttonholes on the collar", the uniforms of the ranks of the lower classes did not have sewing. In 1821, samples of buttons for the uniforms of the Academy of Arts were approved, the image on which was made in accordance with its purpose. The composition of objects, including a palette with brushes, a column, and other artistic elements, was accompanied by the letters I. A. H.
