factory of brothers "Boo". One of the most famous button-making factories of the Russian Empire was founded in 1816 by the masters of copper, bronze and pewter eternal things of the shop, Johann Transhel and Burgerdom the Buch. She was in the 2nd part of the Admiralty of Saint Petersburg , in the 3rd quarter of Carpentry and Bolshaya Meshchanskaya street, at No. 99. In 1840-43, the factory passed to the brothers Boo, Agathon Karlovich (1816-1868) and Herman, who founded the company "Brothers Buch". Probably, from 1872 to 1881 the principal owner of the firm "Brothers Buch" was the husband of Wilhelmina Autonony, one of 3 daughters of Agathon Buch, merchant Gottlieb Monin. Perhaps during this period the main role was played by the factory screws. In 1881, the button factory goes to a close relative's widow Julia Friedrich-Karl Alexandrovich Gutheil, 1853, R., hereditary honorary citizen, of the Lutheran faith, educated in Moscow Peter and Paul school, St. Petersburg 2 Guild merchant. In 1886, Gutheil married the daughter of Gottlieb and Monina granddaughter Agathon Buch, Wilhelmina Julia-Maria. In 1890, 5 line of Vasilievsky island by the architect V. Schaub construct a new 2-storey factory building, No. 20 and 4-storey apartment house. November 9, 1892 together with his wife F. K. A. Gutheil registered Trading House (General partnership) "are the Factory and trading metal buttons Buch brothers in St. Petersburg" with a capital of 10 thousand rubles. According to 1916, and manufactured the adviser, merchant of 2 Guild Gutheil lived in the house No. 20, 5 line of Vasilievsky island with his wife, son and daughter.
