The original button is in satisfactory archaeological condition. Finding under Sevastopol. Bronze, steel, gilding. Made by the famous factory of the Buch brothers. The diameter is 25 mm. Safety in the photo. Guarantee of authenticity.
Buttons of this type could be worn: from 1829 to 1833 - the King of Prussia's Grenadier Regiment; from 1829 to 1833 — the 2nd Carabinieri Regiment; from 1829 to 1833 — Field Marshal Barclay de Tolly's Carabinieri regiment; from 1829 - Glukhovsky Cuirassier regiment; from 1833 — Count Arakcheev's Grenadier regiment; since 1833 — Pavel Mecklenburg's Carabinieri regiment. Judging by the presence of gilding, the buttons were used on the officer's uniform. The numbers on the buttons of army units were abolished in the early 1860s; thus, with a very high degree of probability, these items belong to the period of the reign of Emperor Nicholas I.
