Description

Russian Empire, the beginning of the twentieth century. Porcelain. Excellent collectors condition. Diameter 23 see the Guarantee of authenticity. 1st Volgsky regiment of the Terek Cossack army has its origin from Volgsky Cossacks. On 10 March 1732-lodged on the Tsaritsynsky line Cossacks were combined under one control and named Volgskii Cossacks. May 5, in 1776 was followed by a decree on the inclusion of Volgskoe troops in the composition of the Astrakhan Cossack troops and relocation  Azov-Mozdok line. Ten years later, on 11 April 1786, Volgskoe army was separated from the region entered the composition of settled on the Caucasian line Cossacks. February 28, 1792 from Volgsky and the don Cossacks, who kept nets on the Kuban, was formed the Kuban regiment settled on the Caucasian line Cossacks (subsequently, the regiment was included in the composition of the Kuban Cossack army). On 26 February 1799 the remainder of Volgskoe Cossack army was transformed into Volgsky regiment. 14 February 1845, the regiment was is divided into two: 1st and 2nd Volgskie regiments of the Caucasian linear Cossack army. Both of the regiment amounted to the 6th brigade of this army, 20 March 1858 this crew got № 7 4 March 1861 named the 1st (Volgskoe) brigade of the Terek Cossack army.

August 1, 1870, the brigade was again reorganized, making one regiment, called Volgsky regiment of the Terek Cossack army. June 24, 1882, the regiment was transformed three queue, and the 2nd and 3rd Volgskie Cossack regiments were identified preferential and were convened only in the event of war.

Starting at the end of the eighteenth century Volgskii the regiment was constantly on the Caucasus and attended all wars and the campaigns that happened there to the end of the XIX century. In the First world war Volgskii the regiment was in the 12th army corps.

On 1 August 1870 the brigade was again reorganized, making one regiment, called Volgsky regiment of the Terek Cossack army. June 24, 1882, the regiment was reformed in three stages, with the 2nd and 3rd Volgskie Cossack regiments were identified preferential and were convened only in the event of war.

Since the end of XVIII century Volgsky regiment continuously remained on the Caucasus and participated in all wars and campaigns that happened there until the late nineteenth century. In the First world war Volgskii the regiment was in the 12th army corps.
