08.10.1817 — 3rd Ukrainian Uhlan Regiment (created on 26.10.1816 from Cossack regiments) reorganized into two regiments: 1st and 2nd Bugsky Uhlan
25.06.1830 — The 1st Bugsky is named Bugsky, and the 2nd Bugsky is named Odessa Ulan regiments.
03.07.1856 — a division of the Ukrainian Uhlan Regiment was attached.
03/25/1864 — 9th Bugsky Uhlan Regiment.
30.05.1864 — 9th Bugsky Uhlan of His Royal Majesty August Wirtemberg regiment.
18.08.1882 — The 26th Dragoon Bugsky of His Royal Majesty August of the Wirtemberg Regiment.
07.01.1885 — 26th Dragoon Bugsky regiment.
06.12.1907 — 9th Ulan Bugsky of His Royal Highness Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria.
06/22/1914 — 9th Ulan Bug regiment.
The regiment is an active participant in the First World War. He distinguished himself in the Battle of Galicia in 1914.
