Description

Earthenware, moulded in gold, painted with underglaze paints. Apparently, this dish was made in celebration of the anniversary of the Patriotic war of 1812 in 1912-13. Diameter 250 mm. original Guaranteed. Very rare.

History

29 April 1807 Colonel count O'rourke of followerofyah of Volhynia and Vilna provinces formed a Horse-Volynsky regiment of 10 squadrons. In November of that year renamed Volyn Uhlan regiment. The formation took part in the war with Turkey. During the Patriotic war of 1812 he distinguished himself in the pursuit of the French from the Berezina river, for which he was awarded the silver trumpets of St George. Participated in the campaigns of 1813 and 1814 he Participated in the Polish campaign of 1831, where at the first encounter with the enemy was killed the commander of the regiment Colonel Filimonov. March 21, 1833, the regiment attached to the 3rd division Nezhin horse-jäger regiment. 29 September 1847, named by the chief — Ulan I. E. V. V. K. Konstantin Nikolaevich regiment. During the Hungarian campaign he excelled at the G. Weizen, where, seizing a hostile battery, entered the city, but lost up to a quarter of the whole, under the fire from the Windows of houses, was forced to retreat. For this campaign the regiment received a second set of silver trumpets of St. George. Participated in the Eastern campaign of 1854-1855 and in the suppression of the Polish uprising of 1863 March 19, 1857, it was the name — Volyn, and on 25 March of the same year — No. 6. August 18, 1882 renamed in the 17th Dragoons I. E. V. V. K. Konstantin Nikolaevich regiment. On 18 January 1892 renamed in the 17th Volyn regiment of Dragoons. In the second half of September 1895, by Imperial order, the regiment was allocated to the 3rd squadron on the formation of the 50-th Irkutsk Dragoon regiment (1907 16th Irkutsk hussars regiment). On the formation of a new regiment of attrition following officers-found: captain kardashevskiy Nikolay Possible that the staff-captain Nicholas Bohm F., cornet - Sukovkin Peter S., Kaminski Nikolay Aleksandrovich, Craciunescu Konstantin Dmitrievich. On 6 December 1907 he was re-transformed into the 6th Uhlan Volinsky regiment.
