Original pre-revolutionary postcard in good collectible condition. The community of St. Eugenia of the red cross was established in 1893 by the Committee for the care of the sisters of charity of the red cross (1882) of the young nurses that provided medical care. Was named in honor of St. Eugene – patroness Princess Eugenia of Oldenburg Maksimilianovna (1845-1925), the Minister of the community. Chairwoman of the Committee was Evdokiya Feodorovna Dzhunkovsky (1856-1935), lady-in-waiting of the Imperial court.
