Miniature (frachnaya) medal "For diligence" during the reign of Nicholas II

The original civil award of the Russian Empire, awarded for services useful to the state and diligence to a wide range of subjects. The item is in good, honest collector's condition, without restorations, eyelet repairs and outside interference. The medal is made of bronze by high-quality coinage in one of the famous private medal jewelry workshops of the early 20th century. The metal is covered with a noble, smooth natural patina with traces of many years of use, emphasizing the solid age and authenticity of the object.

The composition of the presented reverse (reverse side) has a classic decoration for awards of this era. On the left side of the disc is an elegant composition in the form of a half-crown woven from laurel, oak and palm branches, symbolizing glory, valor and peaceful work. The branches in the lower part are tied with a bow. To the right of the wreath, a laconic horizontal inscription in pre-revolutionary spelling is embossed in relief in two lines: "FOR DILIGENCE." The characteristic lettering and elaboration of the details of the wreath reflect the individual style of the private manufacturer.

On the reverse there is an all-stamped rounded eyelet for attachment to the ribbon of the Order (Stanislavsky, Anninsky or Vladimirskaya Street), the geometry of which is not broken. The surface of the field has natural micro-ripples and a noble matte coating of time. The portrait obverse (obverse) traditionally for this type of awards contains a profile image of the last Russian emperor.

A historically significant, authentic artifact of the era of the decline of the Russian Empire, which will be an excellent addition to the collection of pre–revolutionary faleristics, awards and commemorative medals of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries.
