The original state award from the reign of the last Russian emperor. The item is in good, honest collector's condition, without traces of restoration, soldering or other outside interference. The medal is made of silver by the method of high-quality coinage, its surface is covered with a noble natural patina, emphasizing the considerable age and authenticity of the monument of phaleristics.
The composition of the reverse is concise and expressive. In the center, in two lines, the relief inscription "FOR DILIGENCE" is embossed in pre-revolutionary font. The left side of the medal's circumference is gracefully encircled by a complex relief weave of palm, oak and laurel branches, tied with a ribbon at the bottom, which symbolizes civic merit, valor and loyalty to duty. A well-defined protective edge runs along the entire perimeter of the disc.
The reverse in the upper part of the disc retains the original all-stamped rounded eyelet for attachment to a shoe or wearing on a ribbon. The edge of the medal is smooth, without deep nicks. The obverse (obverse) traditionally contains a chest profile portrait of Emperor Nicholas II, facing left, with a circular inscription containing his title.
A historically significant copy of the era of the Silver Age of the Russian Empire, awarded to civilian ranks, merchants, burghers and lower ranks of the army for many years of diligent service. The medal will be a worthy addition to the collection of royal phaleristics, awards of imperial Russia and objects of the pre-revolutionary period.
