The original badge is in good collector's condition. Bronze, enamel, stamping, gilding. The base of the sign is a bronze gilded cross with five-leafed ends, covered with white enamel. The shape of the cross refers to the historical breastplate (gorget), which Peter's officers wore in memory of their courage in the battle of Narva in 1700. The golden monogram of Tsar Peter I, the founder of the regiment, is located on the left ray. On the right ray is the monogram of Emperor Nicholas II, the ruler in whose reign this commemorative sign was approved. Both monograms are crowned with imperial crowns. A sword with a twisted hilt is vertically superimposed in the center of the cross. This badge was officially approved on July 11, 1908 in memory of the glorious history and 200th anniversary of one of the oldest regiments of the Russian Guard. The sign on the original twist. Guarantee of authenticity.
