An original and quite rare sign in excellent collector's condition. Bronze, silver-plated. The sign is completed with the original backing and twist. Approved on July 26, 1908. The sign is an image of the Nikolaev eagle with outstretched wings on a half-crown of oak and laurel branches and two crossed golden rifles. Officer Rifle School (OSH) - military educational institution of the Russian Army of the Armed Forces Of the Russian Empire, designed to improve the skills of infantry officers and prepare them for the occupation of combat command positions, which operated in 1826-1917.
