On February 18, 1912, in memory of the 300th anniversary of the army (1874), the officer's badge of the Orenburg Cossack Army was approved. The sign consists of a heraldic shield divided into two parts. At the top is the coat of arms of the Orenburg province (on a white enamel background, a golden Russian eagle under the imperial crown and a blue St. Andrew's cross, separated by a blue enamel stripe, meaning the Ural River). At the bottom, on a golden field, there is a bow and two arrows facing down. The shield is bordered by a blue enamel ribbon tied with a bow at the bottom. In the design drawing of the sign, the date "1574" was placed in the bow, but some of the signs were issued without this date. There is a Cossack hat in the upper part of the sign. Guarantee of authenticity.
