The original medal is in good condition. Dark bronze, stamped. The obverse features an image of a Russian double-headed eagle. The inscription "FOR THE PACIFICATION OF THE POLISH REBELLION" is located around the circumference of the reverse, and the dates "1863-1864" are indicated in the center. This state award was established in 1865 to reward participants in the suppression of the uprising of 1863-1864 in the Kingdom of Poland and the North-Western Region. The medal was made in two versions: light and dark bronze. The light bronze medal was awarded to military officers who directly participated in the fighting. The dark bronze medal was awarded to persons who did not take a direct part in the battles, but who served in the specified regions. The circulation is 290000 pcs. The medal was worn on the chest on a ribbon of the state colors (black, yellow and white). Guarantee of authenticity.
