An original and rather rare medal in good collector's condition. Silver (?), stamping. On the obverse there is a sewn image of the Russian Emperor Alexander 2 (years of life; 1818-1881) in profile, to the right, the inscription in the upper part of the medal in Finnish ALEXANDER. On the reverse, in the center, there is an image of the coat of arms of Alexander 2 consisting of the Latin letter A and the Roman numeral II with the imperial crown of the Russian Empire crowned and the coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Finland consisting of the coat of arms of a lion standing on its hind legs, holding a knight's sword in its right paw and trampling a saber with a crowned princely crown with its hind paws. In the interval of these compositions dated designations 29.IV.1894. All of the above composition is framed by a laurel wreath and rays of radiant light. Guarantee of authenticity.
