Bronze, stamping. Good collectors condition. On the obverse of the medal — head-and-shoulders portraits (in three quarters) of Emperor Nicholas II in the form of the 4th life guard rifle Imperial family regiment and the Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich in the barm and the cap of Monomakh. Around the circumference of the coin — beads of alternating dots and dashes. On the reverse side of the medal the inscription: "In memory | of the 300th anniversary | reign | house of Romanov | 1613-1913". The guarantee of authenticity.
The memory of the events and a medal, which shows similar portraits of Mikhail Romanov (the founder of the dynasty) and Emperor Nicholas II — the last of its representative. The position and the medal "In commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the reign of the Romanovs" was approved by the Emperor on 21 February 1913. Design of the medal was developed by the senior medallist of the St. Petersburg mint A. F. vasyutyns'ke. The author of the bas-relief on the obverse of the medal is sculptor Kerzin, M. A., the Medals were made of bright bronze. Private firms and workshops by special order cast medals of gold silver and, in rare cases, gold. The medals worn on the chest on the ribbon "stamp" colors — white, orange and black stripes of the same size. Medal awarded:
The persons listed in paragraph 2, winning medals for free, the rest of the awardees were given a special certificate for the right to wear medals that were purchased for a fee (including private firms and workshops). At the Saint-Petersburg mint in 1913-1914 was minted more than 1.5 million medals. Just to 26 June 1914 the Mint has received orders for 166 028 2 medals.
