Gold, enamel. An original and rather rare early sign in excellent condition. It is the youngest in the hierarchy of orders of the Russian Empire. It was awarded for military and civilian services. This smaller version of the cross was attached to a civilian tailcoat or uniform, and was convenient for everyday life. Guarantee of authenticity.
