Badge of a graduate of the Kazan military school RIA

Silver, gold, enamel. Approved by the Emperor on July 23, 1912. The obverse represents a shield of white enamel with three heart-shaped projections, bordered with blue enamel edging. At the top of the shield is the coat of arms of the educational institutions and the ear to wear. The full width of the shield cross pattern superimposed two cadet overhead: blue — right, bottom, and red — top left (former cadet and military schools). On the shoulder straps reinforced double crowned monogram of the emperors Alexander II and Nicholas II. On the left ledge of the shield is placed the year of Foundation of school — 1866, on the right — the year of the renaming of the College of military — 1909, on the bottom — the image of the dragon (part of the coat of arms of the Kazan province). Reverse plated, smooth, with red enamel inscription: "Win or die" (the motto of the school) and also with the inscription "V. P. Smirnov / 1916". At the bottom of the reverse is broken registered the mark of the wizard "CB" in the rectangle and the mark 84 standard silver. The sign is equipped with the original chain.
