The weekly political and public newspaper Rodina is a free supplement to the Rodina magazine. Good collector's condition, holes from the firmware, tears. Saint-Petersburg. We recommend it!

History

Rodina magazine was founded in 1879 in St. Petersburg, the capital of the Russian Empire. In the first issue of the magazine, the editorial board placed an advertisement for readers, in which it told about the editorial policy that it has adhered to all the years of its existence:

In 1887, Ivan Bunin's poetic debut took place in the magazine Rodina. After learning about the death of the poet Semyon Nadson, 17-year-old Ivan Bunin sent several poems to the Rodina magazine. One of them, "Over the Grave of S. J. Nadson," was published in the February issue. Another, "The Village beggar" — in May.

The writers Samuel Marshak, Lev Gumilyevsky, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and the artist Ivan Pavlov left mentions of the magazine at that time
