The monogram of Emperor Alexander III of the 1883 model with a crown, which bore the character of a cipher and was intended for shoulder straps (and braided cords in hussar regiments) of officers of regiments named after His Imperial Majesty Alexander III. This monogram was in the nature of a cipher and was worn by officers of the entire regiment, not just its first (Chief) company. List of regiments named after Alexander III:
