Monogram of Emperor Nicholas I, judging by the size outlines, relates to 1840-m – 1850-m, and was intended to wear Apollo or uniform officers and lower ranks first mouth the regiments of the Guards who had the patronage of the Emperor (the so-called mouth It Majesty, or in use, of Sovereign's mouth). We cannot exclude also the accessory monogram ranks of the Imperial retinue – fligel-adjutant, His Retinue Majesty General-major, and General-adjutants. Rules and features of wearing insignia ranks Retinue when Nicholas I studied not completely. From monograms of the last reigns of the monogram is very different font style, especially the lower part. The sign was established 1855 Thin, very neat manner of performance and the presence of a very high quality gilding say that monogram with most likely belongs to the first two of the listed groups. The sign is perfectly preserved, with the exception of the lost fragment of the lower part of the right wreath. However, lapel badges of the Imperial Retinue in our are a great rarity, regardless of them status Dating related to the reigns of Nicholas I and Alexander II can meet only as a very rare exception.

    1. a selection of the augmented patch numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 used encryption officer Apollo or uniform. Judging by the drawing, the figures also belong to the middle of the XIX century. The surface numbers are finished in imitation of sewing in the form of oblique notches. The almost perfect preservation, with the exception of the number 4, the majority of which is lost. It should be noted that for the time characteristic embroidered numbers and letters of the broadcasts on the officer Apollo and shoulder straps; slip fittings in the years, presumably, could be used as a cheap substitute and has survived to our days in single copies, on the found.
