In drawing this type of badges is very similar to the officer forgetme badges of the same period, descended in turn from the cockades on officers ' dvupolnyh hats and leather helmets. 1844 With its predecessors share a common drawing (flat oval rosette with simulated texture moire ribbon). However, unlike furuuchi cockades of the same period, the instance is not buildable, and one-piece; probably the Central portion and the outer ellipse had a different cover – gilt and silver respectively. Size 25*30 mm. However, the most interesting feature of this instance is a fastener in the form of a U-shaped bracket soldered on the back. According to this fastener, and the badge was intended for use in any ceremonial headdress on the kiver of a sample of 1855, either on the Lancer cap, or, with less probability, in the Cossack hat. The clip was inserted into the lower part of the Sultan, the so-called nut, fastened to a headdress with a wire loop. Such officers ' cockades for hats in our days almost never occur.
