Silver. Stefan was born in Finland, and in 1843 he moved to St. Petersburg to study, became an apprentice in 1847, founded his own silversmithing workshop in 1856); the customer's stamp, made in the form of the inscription "K. FABERGE" under the image of a double-headed eagle, as well as the stamp of the alpha sample, a woman's head in a cocoanut to the right, "84". Unfortunately, Postnikova-Loseva dates the master's work to the period before 1893, but the assay stamps have a later date. There may be many reasons for such discrepancies, so the item is sold on an "as is" basis.
