Description

84-grade silver, engraving, blackening, gilding. The weight is 44 grams. The height is 65 mm, the diameter of the mouth is 54 mm. The body of the glass is decorated in the neo-Russian style with engraving and ink (belts, circles with 4-petal rosettes and leaves inscribed in them, a coat of arms with the initials "EV", etc.). Along the lower and upper edges, the text is confidently applied with a stichel: "In memory of E.V. Ilya Ivanovich Speransky. To the commander and the father. From the lower ranks of the L. Grenadier Regiment, October 10, 1881, 10th class." The inner surface is gilded. The stamp of the Moscow district Assay Chamber, the stamp of 84 silver samples, "IK" (an unknown Moscow assay master, worked in 1872-1881), "...7" (date of manufacture, probably 1877), "F.." is a partially erased nominal stamp of the master.
