A very interesting and rare set of travelers with the coat of arms of one of the old noble families of Russia – Gagarin or Khilkov, because their coats of arms coincided. An interesting feature is that on the devices the coat of arms is engraved with an error – the first and second parts are reversed. The set includes three devices (spoon, fork and knife). Fork: 18 cm., 51 g.; Knife: 20.4 cm., 43 g.; Spoon: 18.5 cm., 49 g. The size of the case is 14x23.8x3.8 cm. Silver, gilding, engraving. Made in Western Europe by order of one of the representatives of the above-mentioned families. Leather, silk, velvet, metal. In a red one-piece leather case with gold embossed on the top cover. Scuffs and small dirt on the leather of the case. All cutlery is branded: "A D" and a rose in a rhombus, "O" and a picture of a dog (?) in the oval. Scratches and scuffs on the devices. Guarantee of authenticity. A rarity.
