Throughout the existence of the army horse artillery, it was given uniforms of the same cut as the army dragoons, but with the preservation of the traditional artillery colors – black (for officers, velvet) collars and cuffs trimmed with red edging, and on the collar the edging was sewn not only along the top, but also along the bottom edge.
During the cavalry reform of 1907-1908, mounted gunners received a single–breasted eight-button uniform with cuffs at the toe, three pocket flaps at the back and decorative buttons along the back seam of the sleeve. In December 1909, officers of the horse artillery were given a uniform of the same cut and the same color, but without the embroidered gold buttonholes on the collar and cuffs, to save expensive combat uniforms. In addition, the cuffs on such a uniform were not cut from black velvet, but from a more wearable and cheaper uniform cloth. The uniform was worn, as a rule, with shoulder straps, epaulettes were worn only in exceptional cases. The use of military uniforms, as well as other peacetime uniforms, ceased after the outbreak of the First World War. The size is about 46-48. Rare. Guarantee of authenticity.
