Extremely rare trousers in very good collector's condition. The trousers are sewn from a cloth of a keeper's weave (as the diagonal was called in those years), similar to the officer's, but cheaper. According to the cut, they correspond to the pattern established for the lower ranks, but with some special features: the belt is sewn from thick cotton fabric for convenience, the lower edges of the trousers are lined with fabric and equipped with strips instead of ties. There are no belt loops for the ball belt, the belt is equipped with braces to fit the figure. All this suggests that the item was made by order of a non-commissioned officer of long-term service, who could afford such liberties. Black, without the slightest dark green tint, the color of the fabric indicates belonging to the Guards foot artillery, and for these units black trousers were worn even in the form of wartime. A pocket for a dressing bag is sewn on the inside of the upper part of the left leg. He looked like a tall, thin man. Guarantee of authenticity.
