Double-breasted summer tunics made of white linen were introduced for officers of all branches of the armed forces in 1860 and existed without any fundamental changes until the introduction of protective-colored uniforms in 1907. Over the years, their cut has changed only slightly in accordance with fashion requirements. Tunics made in the 1900s are characterized by a high waist and rows of buttons that slightly diverge upward. The quality of the fabric depended on the owner's well-being. The tunic had no lining, the shoulder straps and buttons on them were removable (the latter were mounted on brass rings). Belonging to the infantry is indicated by straight pocket flaps with two buttons and button embossing (an eagle without any fittings). Such buttons were introduced in August 1904, which makes it possible to date the item. The size is small, about 46. Stains, contamination of the fabric around the perimeter. There are no shoulder straps. Guarantee of authenticity.
