An extremely rare helmet in very good collector's condition. Made by the court factory of the officer's things of Bitner, judging by the tag on the inside of the dome. The helmet is fully complete, the skin is quite elastic and does not require any conservation interventions. The coat of arms is brass without a designation of belonging to any part, silvered, which indicates that the helmet belongs to a military doctor or pharmacist in the rank below the actual state councilor. The helmet was introduced for wearing on May 9, 1844 instead of a shako for regiments of army infantry and artillery. In the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grenadier brigades, she was worn with black sultans, tambour majors, musicians and drummers from red hair, and the rest of the army artillery - without a sultan. Guarantee of authenticity. The rarest museum-level item, we recommend it!
