The single-breasted eight-button military uniforms followed the cut of the military uniform introduced in 1908 for army dragoons and horse artillery, but unlike it they did not have embroidered buttonholes on the collar and cuffs. They were introduced in December 1909 to save expensive ceremonial uniforms and existed until the outbreak of the First World War. An interesting feature of this piece is the cuffs, which are not made of cloth, but of black velvet. The reason for this discrepancy is the lack of a complete description of it. The order on the introduction of the uniform contains the wording "modeled on a ceremonial uniform, but without buttonholes." As we can see, in practice it was interpreted in different ways. The uniform is made of high-quality cloth of "royal color", the collar and cuffs are made of black velvet. The size is about 46-48. An excellent option for bundling, a guarantee of authenticity.
