A uniquely rare photo depicting several RIA generals, military officials, and a number of lower ranks of the cavalry. A special feature of the image is the indication of all the faces depicted on it, printed in the lower part. In the center of the picture (2nd row, sitting) is the division commander P. P. Lyubomirov; to his right, the commander of the 1st Brigade of the 15th Cavalry Division, Major General V. I. Kotsurik; to his left, Major General M. A. Lyshinsky, commander of the 2nd Brigade. The image size is 325*425 mm. Guarantee of authenticity. Rare. The 15th Cavalry Division was a cavalry unit in the Russian Imperial Army. Division headquarters: Plock. It was part of the 15th Army Corps. The division participated in the East Prussian operation of 1914. Operated in The Baltic States in the spring of 1915. During the Great Patriotic War, he lived in Leningrad (ul. 3 July, 71, sq. 20). He died during the siege. He was buried at the Volkovskoye cemetery.
Kotsurik Vladimir Ivanovich (02.06.1854-.). Orthodox. He was educated at a boarding school in Prague. He joined the service on 19.08.1875. He graduated from the Nikolaev Cavalry School. He was promoted to officer in the Life Guards Cuirassier Regiment. Cornet (V. 22.05.1877). Lieutenant (article 12.04.1881). Staff Captain (article 30.08.1883). Captain (article 24.04.1888). Colonel (article 28.03.1893). Official for special assignments in excess of the state under the Minister of War (from 03.04.1894). Renamed staff officers for special assignments in excess of the staff under the Secretary of War (11.03.1897-28.01.1900). Commander of the 43rd Drag. Tver Regiment (28.01.1900-18.06.1904). Major General (pr. 1904; art. 18.06.1904; for distinction). Commander of the 1st Brigade of the 15th cav. divisions (from 18.06.1904). On 01.06.1911 in the same rank and position. Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General with discharge from service with a uniform and pension (VP 29.01.1913). By the beginning of the World War, he was retired. Later, he was employed by the State Militia. Lieutenant General. Head of the 52nd Brigade of the State militia (as of 06.12.1916). Commander of the 5th Corps of the State Militia. After the February revolution and the establishment of a new government in Omsk (04.03.1917), he was arrested, but later released. Head of the Novonikolaevsk garrison (as of 27.03.1917). 19.04.1917 approved as commander of the 5th corps of the state militia.
