The officers belonging to the part can be identified by numbers on the shoulder straps: fitted with 583 at 597 inclusive, was assigned to detachments of militia, formed the Kuban region. In addition to the numbers on the shoulder straps were supposed to indicate the initial letters of the name region (province), but their absence was very common during the First world war, a violation. Presumably, therefore, the officers of the militia sought to be like officers of the regular units. Both characters are obviously intended from the stock. Signs of higher educational institutions do not exist, so that both of them have secondary education, in peacetime, he served his military service with volunteers, and at the end of the annual term of service passed the examination for ensign stock. Indirect confirmation of this is the regimental insignia at the right of the officer, clearly relevant to the regiment, in which he held a valid service. Infantry regiments, which had signs of this type (wreath, crown, white Maltese cross), there were several; positive identification impossible. The uniforms of both officers – the jacket and pants khaki – obviously made after the start of world war II; however, the jacket is tailored on the model that existed in the army in 1907 – 1913 (patch breast pockets, no colored edgings on the collar and cuffs). Right officer armed with a checker pattern in 1881 is probably acquired by him during his assignment to reserve the left – Caucasian sword, which was in 1913, officially has all of the component parts of the Caucasus military district.
